Rhi-Take "Rhi-Silience" Scholarship
Scholarship awarded to ALEXIS SANCHEZ of RHS Class of 2022!!
As a way of giving back and showing my gratitude towards those that took a leap of faith on a small town kid from Raton, I gladly announce the Rhi-Take Scholarship fund! Autumn Martinez, a freshman at UNM was the first to receive this $500 Scholarship in 2021. Moving forward, this scholarship will be awarded to one Raton High School Senior, to assist in their future endeavors post graduation, whatever they should be. This scholarship will not go to the A+ student, nor the student with the highest GPA, ACT/SAT scores, etc. There was a small circle of people that once believed in me as the underdog, and my plan is to do the same, once every year. Stay tuned to see what RHS Senior earns the Rhi-Take Rhi-Silience Scholarship in 2023!!

"I was shook when Rhiannon asked me to serve as a member of her Scholarship Committee. Unlike the other members, I am not as educated, nor do I have any college experience. Though when it comes to resilience, I know a few things. Honestly I hated that word; hated it so much that when Rhiannon got it tatted on her spine, I fought with her.
